Should I rebuild my shock or get a better one?

First of all I have an '86 Quadracer and is the rear shock on them rebuildable? I think it is but not sure. I will pry go with a Works for expense reasons.

I know the '87 and newer rears are rebuildable. Fronts not. The rebuild/revalve deal should be cheaper than a new unit.

I just had mine rebuilt (Rear Shock 1989 LT250R) $135 total. Seems good as new.

labor $95
New seal $30
Oil $10

I have had others rebuilt and I am happy with the results
