How does the speed and handling compare between a stock (lt250 and a kfx700)?

 

Its like comparing a geo metro with a bad intake valve, to a dodge viper on the juice.

 

I have never heard of anyone refering to a LT250R as a viper before but i like it.

 

Come guys, which goes faster of the two. '

I know a stock LT can keep up with a raptor in tell the raptor hits sixth gear. And a raptor also can beat the 700 by a couple quad lengths. So how does Lt and a 700 compare in the speed area.

 

I didnt know the Raptor had 6 gears.. My 01 that i used to have only had 5!!! I got ripped

 

your question is very open to interpretation. If a top speed is what your after then you
can put a huge counter shaft sprocket and small rear sprocket on the LT and go way faster
than you want to providing you had enough room. If a 50 or 100 yard drag is what you
want then you can re-gear for that also, but then the automatic might make a difference.
Speed in the sand would be different then speed on a flattrack or a moto cross track.
They both will go faster than you can ride in the woods or the mud.

 

My mistake sykoQuadRider, I did know that a raptor has five gears. I obviously ment five, not six.

 

I can tell you all you want to know on the subject. I am blessed to have all 3 LT250R, LT500R, LTZ400 . The Zseems smoother but its no match for the old quadracers far as speed goes.
