i just order a set of Razor's rear tires for my KFX and I am keeping the stock rims for right now, but i went ahead and order a 1 inch wider tire than stock, so it is 11inches wide instead of 10 inches wide. Will that fit on the stock rim? I think it should, because you can do that on truck rims and such. Oh by the way, has anyone ever ordered from tread depot? Thats where I ordered them from I was just wondering if they are reliable?

 

I find the stock rims a bit narrow for my taste. They will give your wider tire tread a ROUNDED PROFILE (it will bulge a little in the middle). A wider rim, will spread the tire out flatter, and therefore put more rubber on the road. I prefer ITP 9X9 rims.

 

I ordered my razr's from treadepot,got them in 4 days.they fit the stock rims fine,but I had a heck of a time getting the stocks off.I've also ordered other tires and rims from t/d and never had a prob.

 

Thanks guys. Also are the razors from there the real things, or knock offs? I ask this because it says Cheng Sing, or somthing like that beside the name, and Ive never heard of that so I was just wondering....

 

Cheng Shin makes Maxxis tires.. I ordered mine from Treadepot and received them in less than a week. Your stock rims will work like a champ...Mine did..

 

Well I just got an e-maill saying that the tires are on back order from, and it will be 2-3 weeks. So I am just going to order them from rocky Mountain ATV tomorow. I am really peed off right now. but the tires are the same price from rocky mountain as tread depot so its all cool.
