Shock Rebuild...LT250r
#1
What is the proceedure for rebuilding the shock on an 86 Quadracer?
I am pretty sure its the original shock. But all the decals are off the canister.
I am pretty sure its toast cause the machine handles so crappy. on any kind of whoops or washboard gravel.
1- How do I know its the shock?
2- How much is it to recharge? any good bad experience?
3- I love riding this machine, will this upgrade make a real huge difference?

I had my '86 Quadracer shock rebuilt by Shock Therapy in Durand, Michigan about a year and a half ago, and just had a second shock done for an ATC200x two weeks ago. I'm happy with the results on both. They can upgrade your shock to whatever specs you like. I had my shocks both built to factory specs and they each cost about $100 for the rebuild. If the shock shaft is bent or pitted it will cost more or may not be rebuildable. Their website is shocktherapyracing.com if you want to contact them. I'll fix most things myself, but wouldn't know where to start on a shock, especially when it comes to recharging it.
