Default FUEL VALVE

Hey all, this may sound sort of stupid but I was wondering if your fuel valve still leaked even after you turn it to off??? I thought maybe it was supposed to keep leaking a little just to keep the carb wet??? Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

Default FUEL VALVE

There might be a small piece of trash stuck in the valve that isn't allowing it to close all the way. Even a tiny piece might keep it from sealing tightly. So if its a big problem you might want to try taking it apart somehow and just checking for any trash or damage to the seal of the valve when its closed that would keep it from closing all the way.
