Banshee vs LT250R

Default Banshee vs LT250R

I own a 1985 LT250R and i am currently looking at buying a banshee. but is it really alot better, like in:

Suspenstion
Handling
Usable Power
Traction
Reliability

Pleae give me your answers

Default Banshee vs LT250R

I didn’t even realize this was a new "Banshee versus LT250r" thread till I clicked on it. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

The LT250 takes all those categories hands down. A Banshee is better for drag racing but that’s it.

The power difference between a stock 85LT and a Banshee is pretty big, so if you were to test-drive both that might sway you to the Banshee. But a powervalved 6speed LT with a few mods is right in the ballpark with the Banshee speed wise and has the LT handling.

My suggestion would be to upgrade to a newer LT250.

Default Banshee vs LT250R

I have an 86 LT250 with a few mods and just got a 91 LT250 only slightly more modded over all. The power difference is startling. An extra gear and a power valve makes an amazing difference.
