As promised, not a lot to look at now, but it will give you guys a good idea of the color. You cant tell by the pics, but the frame will change to purple in the right angle of the sun.

Do you ever go out in the middle of the night and sit on it and pretend you're riding it? I know I would.lol

Lookin' Good! That's keepin' you up at night, I'll bet. I've been thinking about having my frame powder-coated. I like those yellow hubs.
What brand of wheels are those?

Ok, ill admit to sitting on it a few times. Its cool putting it back together, It was always a straight bike, but the original bearings and seals had started to show thier age by manefesting in squeaks and groans. I have spend about $1000 just in bearing and seals, but I replaced EVERY single one, front to back. The bike is so tight now, it is like im putting a brand new bike together. I had everything sand blasted and powdercoated, chromed or painted. The wheels are Douglas .190s. Tires are 20x10x10 Trekers, and 19in Holeshot MXs on the front.

What color plastic should I go with?? I was thinking black and paint the front cowl silver.

I saw some black and yellow Maier plastic on Ebay that looked bad ***, but I cant find it anywhere else.

Definitely not blue or white, That was one of my goals was to rid the bike of the "chalky" Suzuki Blue.

Silver plastic with a black hood.

Another thing I've thought about doing. Replacing the rear plastic and seat for that of a 250(straight seat). Would it work?

I've seen some samples of that new "shiny" Maier plastic. They had silver, but I don't know if they had it for a 500.
