Default Utility Bags?

This is a nice site with a lot of useful information. I've been lurking for quite some time, and finally decided to sign up.

I recently bought a 2000 Suzuki King Quad. I'm looking to get some rack bags and fender bags. Can anyone help me out with what the best quality items are? Also I would like some nice quality bags that have a lining inside them that give them their shape. I really don't want bags that just lay flat if nothing is in them. I'm not sure if they make them that way or not. Thanks again.

I bought 2 quadboss fender bags that work real well, but in mud they sure get nasty! Just recently bought a storage box from wal mart and rigged it up with latches and bolts that will make it easy to take it off for the fast runs.

Default Utility Bags?

I purchased a Kolpen soft rear rack bag for my 2002 Vinson 500. I now have a ($130) Kimpex(?) hard rack box bolted to the rear rack and the Kolpen may as well be trashed, the reason is the Kolpen while nice and all gets all my stuff wet and i got tired of it. Long live the hard boxes, little or lots of money spent.

I also just bought a Kolpin soft bag for the rear. This one is waterproof. It even has a small compartment that can be used as a cooler!

Kolpin Bags - It's the Gold Line XL Rear Rack Bag #91811

$130 shipped.

Thanks guys. I looked into the Kolpin products and plan on calling them tomorrow. They had pictures of fender bags, but I couldn't find a price for them. Until next time...

Pro bass shop has soft-bags too & decent prices. I am using one on the front of my Prairie & it is holding up great. It has a U shape to it & cost around $50. ( I think it is called xcaccessories) Straps on with 4 buckles - not velcro.
Don't care for the "atv logic by Kwik tek", cheap & doesn't hold up.
On the rear rack you are better off with a hard plastic unit, due to the excess amount of dirt/dust/mud & so forth on the rear of your 4wheeler. The zipper type of bags don't hold up well under the dirt/mud when mounted at the rear. I have a front hard case mounted to my rear rack, this keeps the height of the rear box lower, as some of these rear boxes are way too tall for my liking.
Fender bags are nice but get dirty real quick, you may want to look into a tank bag instead.

See www.atvstuff.com They have custom made bags for me, when I wanted something different.
