i know a some about suzuki 250 quad racers but i was wondering about how much difference the powervalve that they started making in 87 makes<from 85 and 86>? The reason i ask is when i have looked at prices the 85 and 86s have been much cheaper. and i was wondering if this is from the powervalve or the year.

My 86 has the head shaved a FMF silencer with a stock pipe and a K+N with an outerwear and no airbox lid. My 91 (mods listed below) is a lot faster. The 86 was not slow (shaving the head really woke it up), but it would not have a chance against the 91 in any race.
