I have had similar problems, I am thinking of ditching the choke. You can't really move it because it is attached to the switch box for the lights, run ect.

I've had the same thing happen. Went into the whoops section , double the first set, must have hit the choke on the way down. I gased it to make it over of next section and the bike died and I came up three feet short and cased the landing. I went over the handle bars. I'm sick of that crap happening! What can a guy do to fix this problem?

I would disconnect it myself but then my bike wont start I cant start my bike cold with out it. Unless there is a manual one you can hook up down next to the carb like some other bikes. I have the same problem and forget about it after I warm it up then shut it off. Cuz then I just get back on the bike and start it and take off and it runs like **** until I figure it out.

i haven't hit mine yet

what are you hands doing off the grips?

UNLESS YOU HAND is off the grip there is no way you hit the choke lever.

Try a DRZ 400 choke. It unbolts from the side of the carb the same location as the LTZ but has a **** instead of a cable looks like it will work as long as the plunger is the same length .
Had a friend who changed bars and when they made left turns the quad would stall. The bars were taller and wider and had to change the factory routing to fix.

THere are a few guys on "Central" that have done the DRZ choke conversion. Go on that website and "search" around.
