head gasket???????????

Default head gasket???????????

hello everyone!!
ok i know it works on the trx250r's (with a cr250 head gasket)
but....... what about the lt250r what one do you get ??? my lt is a 92. do i use a 92 rm250
gasket?????? i'm sure someone has done this to there bike.....

also... i have a noise comming from my motor (been like that since i got it) is this normal??
the bike runs good did the rebuild last summer (top end, crank, bearings & seals) i don't understand!!!!! it sounds like some one inside trying to get out....

anyway i will ride until it's time to do the rings then the tear down begins.... (fun wow)
if anybody know's anything about the things above please reply....

Default head gasket???????????

How about using a Suzuki LT250R head gasket, they work pretty good.

Sorry for bieng such a smart alec, but usually when the motor is producing "noises" it's because it running

OK sorry is it a clank or rattle? Does it go away when you give it gas?

it's good to see people with a good sense of humor!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
but i know you use a lt250r head gasket on a lt250r...
but isn't the one for the rm250 the same but thinner?
and as far as the noise.... when you rev it up you can't hear it ....... it's just a question.. or two.....

Default head gasket???????????

The noise could be your connecting rod big end. If so, the crank needs to be rebuilt. To check it, you will have to remove the cylinder. You should not feel any up and down movement in the rod big end.
