If the Scram 400 is stock, the Z will kill it. I watched a stock Z400 spank a piped (+who knows what else) 400ex yesterday. I was impressed.
A stock 400 Scram will not run with a 400ex BTW.

Not sure what your basing your info on garryc660r, but my Scrambler bone stock, not even broke in yet ran neck and neck with every 400EX I could find to race. I think some of the confusion with Scramblers comes from the numerous models, 2 stroke, 4 stroke, 2X4, and 4X4. The 400 2X4’s are probably 40 pounds lighter, bone stock makes 36 horse at the crank, and are just as fast as any stock 400EX.
The aftermarket also makes 70+ horse kits that are relatively affordable.
Don’t let your “Polaris’s are all junk” iteas cloud your judgment.

My info is first hand since I previously owned a 400ex and raced a 2wd 400 scrambler (both stock). I was previously garyc400ex a couple years back. I should have mentioned this in my previous post. I do understand all do not run equal...so I respect your opinion and your experiences.....thats just my $.02.
