What is the best exhaust for a Z400
Well any pipe is better than stock but I took the Trinity cuz my buddy bought the new Yosh and didnt like the bottom end compared to mine. Its just your preference. But I had to wait three weeks for my pipe and I live in the same state. But I will not trade it for another. That pipe to me fits it very nicely. Just my 1 cents worth. If your worried about the noise then my second selection would have been the MBRP.

What is the best exhaust for a Z400
My wife ran the drags with her piped (HMF) and jetted Z and in 300ft she turned a 6.1 Considering this was her first time drag racing thats not bad. A stock raptor will turn about a 6.6 and a stock V will turn right at the same times 6.6 - 6.8 There was one guy that was running a 5.7 on a piped and jetted KFX 400. For basically stock bikes that is not bad times!
I can turn a 5.1 on my Rappy and that is no wheelie bar and runnig a +6 swing arm and turf tamer tires. I am going to get a wheelie bar made and try to get some different tires, and am hopping to get down to the high 4's. Considering the fact that my bike has about 10g more invested in it then I don't think I would call a Z "slow" by any means. Just my 2cents
