Default Z400 shocks

Anybody know if the shocks on the Z400 are rebuildable? I'd really like to make them comparable to at least Works. Is it worth it to spend the $$$ or should I just buy some good aftermarket ones? How much for all three to be done and where should I take/send them to? I mostly ride desert but also hit the dunes a couple times a year. Any help or suggestions would be great!!!!!!! Thanks

I have a KFX400 and I have looked into having the shocks rebuilt. From what I have found out the rear shock is rebuildable but the front shocks are not.

I blew the stock rear our pretty early. I landed a big double, and that was it!! Oil all over the place. I replaced it with Works Ultracross in the rear, and Steelers with reservoirs in the front, and have never regreted it. Works recomends a rebuild every year, and the price is not bad, and they have a 3 day turnaround time.

I think they will do a rework of the stock rear, but not the front. Check their website for prices.
