Default Z400 power for pennys HELP!

Hey I am wanting to drill out my pea shooter....if i do so will this make it sound the same as when i take my baffles out? if so that what i am gonna do! also when i do that do i gotta re jet?

help fast!

It will sound good, but not annoyingly loud like most thumper pipes are. Thats the only reason I don't get one. And, $400 for 1hp isn't worth it. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

If you remove the snorkle baffle, or the entire snorkle or entire lid that's when you need to rejet. Depending on what you're doing there will determine what jetting you should use. But, I'd start off by spending the $15 for a new carb needle from Alba. Well worth the $$.

If you're not going to touch the stock intake, I wouldn't waste time with the pipe. It won't really help that much anyhow. Most free power comes from opening up the intake and rejetting.

when u get a new exhaust u get more then 1 hp some are proven 5hp or ur money back and then with the k&n its prolly 6-7 hp wich is alot for somthin with about 25-30 to start out with

even 3hp is about average, and a lot comes from opening the intake. But, they don't tell you that. LOL But, if you have dyno charts I'd love to see em. Then we can start a whole nother schpeal on how that was probably done wrong.

Which ones are 5hp or your money back? I'd love to read the fine print there.
