electric start: weighs your quad down and what are you going to do when your battery dies in the middle of nowhere.
shaft drive: reliable but weighs the z down more. how many racers do you see with drive shafts.
four stroke: more moving parts in the motor to go bad. valves and cam
brakes: front regular discs rear drum brake
suspension: more travel than the z

 

I think that the z and blaster were designed for different riders. the z is better for the trails and it is more of a begginer quad. It is also low maitenence and is faster than the 250ex. The blaster is better for the track and has alot more mod potential. It is more of an intermediate quad that has a harder powerband to learn. Once you learn it you will love it.

Well I didnt buy mine to race, I wouldnt get caught on either one if I were to race, my choice would be the banshee or the raptor. Who wants to race a 200 or 250 anyways?? You must not like speed if thats why you purchased the blaster for. Grow up, get a z400 or Raptor, then talk about which is better on the track.

 

a fully modded big bore blaster without nitrous oxide is capable of 60 horses.

 

You have a Blaster , so what , good for you , why are you here bickering about how much better it is . When you grow up and get a 400 or greater are you going to do the same thing . Whos or which quad is better or best is in each and every riders own opinion . You have yours and others have theres .
