Z400 Frames

You are hearing from the few people who have had frame problems, and they of course are going to howl real loud!! What you are not hearing from, is the thousands of people who are not having any problems. They are silent, because they have nothing to howl about.
As for myself, I have had no problems during a long season of hard a$$ desert riding. I do have an Arens brace on order, simply to hedge my bets. We all bought a first year bike, knowing that there might be some bugs. So, nobody has a right to complain. We should have been patient and waited another year, but we couldn't stand it, so we didn't. You are the lucky one. You can benefit from our experience.
Get yourself an 04 and go ride. Or, don't and just sit back and envy the rest of us. This is a sweet handling machine, and one sweet motor!! If my frame breakes, I will just weld it up and keep right on riding. There isn't a 250R out there that doesn't have a hundred frame repairs, and all the owners still cherish their machines.

Is there anyone that is selling a gusset kit for the Z400? We got three more Z's with broken frames that have came into the shop. This frame braking is geting real old. If we can buy a kit it would be alot faster than having to make them each time.

Next time you make a set, Make a pattern/Gigg and make 10 extra kits and sell them here.
Just a thought

I seen the ad in the June issue of Dirt Wheels and checked out my frame. Sure enough it has started to crack! Unfortunately, my warrenty is up but I called the dealer anyway, (White's Cycle in Chatt. TN) and they said that they have not heard anything about the frame problem. They also offered me no support or help!
So do the frame kits work? Are there more than one? I'm not sure what to do!
