My 87' LT230E...

Confirmation, is this correct.

Does the Positive (+) wire from the battery run to the Solenoid which runs to the Starter.

Does the Negative (-) wire from the battery run to the Ground Bolt on the engine.

Yes this is correct. I belive there is a fuseable link inbetween the solenoid and battey.

 

Thanks. When I traded for this 4-wheeler their was no fuse between the starter and sylinoid.
What size fuse is it, so I can add one?

According to my service manual it is a 15 amp.

 

Helping a friend who lost his key to his 1985 LT230 Quadrunner.
Is the red wire the battery?
What are the orange and grey wires?
Any help is appreciated, I can't find anything on the web and don't want to pay $24 for the service manual.
