Hey there! I am really new to all this. And I really don't have the experience but my bud is walking me through alot of stuff to get my 1986 LT250E running properly. Right now it is taking a shot of Starting fluid to get it running(only when it is cold after that it starts right up) and it WILL NOT idle even after being warmed up sufficiently. Once it is moving or being throttled it runs great. We noticed that from the coil wire where the ground is, there is an arc of electricity going from the coil to the block and it is killing the electricity to the spark plug and it just dies.
Any ideas of what might be causing this and what do I need to do to fix it? Any help or just knowledge passed would be much appreciated on the matter!![Smile](https://atvconnection.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Thanks,
Pat

Hey guy i have a question and i was wondering if u guys can give me a couple pointers. OK so i have a 89 suzuki lt250r and it was running fine till one day the piston blew up so i bought another cylinder stock bore everything so after i installed it fresh gaskets and everything its hard to start and when it does it runs a lot hotter then i remembered the previous cylinder running....it loads up with a lot of gas and i cant figure out why its doing this its almost like when its wants to idle it feels like its straining to where as soon as you let off the gas the rpms drop FAST and it bogs. i messed with the jets and everything and i just cant fix this problem i figured a lot of u guys have more knowledge than me and maybe someone can help me with this problem!
