I currently sell aftermarket tierods and ends for Cannondales. The rods are 7/8" Aluminum and the ends are heat treated w/ teflon/kevlar inserts. I'm trying to see how many people would be interested in something like this. They are extremely strong and have had nothing but praises. I'm looking at a price of about $125. Tie rods are "weak" because they're an expendable part. If my stock tie rod had failed properly I wouldn't be looking for a replacement steering stem.

 

I know plenty of racers that go with heavy duty tie rods asap when preparing or repairing a machine and yes I would be interested in those parts for my wifes Z.
