Let my friends ride the Z and now it doesn't start. I check for spark and there is none? Any help would be great, thanks

 

Hey thats funny you have this promblem also. My 3 other frineds with 2002-2003 z400 have had the same promblem and same reason this may sound stupied or funny but look. Ok on you cdi box check your wires. Because on my 3 other friends the exact same wire was pulled out on each of there boxes well if thats the case thats a easy fix. But pray thats what it is.

 

Where is the CDI box on these? I really haven't even looked at it much, don't even ride it. Just sits in my trailer till we hit the track and then everyone else rides it. I'm too nice sometimes [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

 

Well check your book, and if you dont have one go to kawasaki.com go to vehicle information type in your stuff and look at the parts diagram... But if that dosent help either look at your lights it is right behind them.

The CDI is located on the left side of the airbox.

 

Took it to my friend who owns his own bike shop and it's exactly what yall said. There was wire loose from the CDI box. Thanks guys!
