Default help with some good mods for my lt250

what would be the best combination of pipes reeds motor mods for mx racing and rec. riding on my 87 lt250. i was thinking about buying plus 2 inch arms and front shocks along with a new swingarm. im wanting to have a real strong hard pull throughtout my midrange im looking at trinity racing pipes and boyseen rad valve or fmf ram valve along with somekind of motor mods... this winter im striping it to the frame and re-doing everything on it in time for the next racing season..
does anyone know of a good atv racingshop around kentucky indiana or ohio that has a good facility such as all the big ones on the west coast like trinity and duncan.
any help would be apreciated

I guess it depends how much you want to spend. If you're going to race MX you will want some +2 a-arms for sure. Try to get some that have caster and camber adjustability. As far as front shocks go, there are several to choose from depending on what you want to spend. I have ATV specialtists +2" chrome a-arms on mine with tripple rate works shocks which work well, but I'm sure they are better combinations out there. I also have my motor done by FTZ racing in Missouri, and it runs well, but I'm sure there are several other companies that can make it run also. You may want to give them a call and see what they can do for you. I also suggest changing out the trash stock swingarm to a round housing style swingarm for ease of chain adjustment, and the factory aluminum swingarm is trash and will break if you ride aggressivly on MX tracks. I also would recommend changing carbs from Mikuni to a Keihin air stryker with a larger bore for better performance.
I have also had another 92 Quadracer with just reeds(FMF ram valve), carb(36mm Keihin), and a Pro Design coolhead, FMF pipe and silencer that helped it out a lot if you 're thinking of going the inexpensive route without all the motor work.
