hey guys I just bought a 85 lt250r and This thing will not start not even sound like it will it's my first atv so i dont know if it has a key I dont think it does i have searched it everywere. It was last rode 1 year ago by me I am good friends with the last owners. Well it alos has compression very good as I can tell. everything else is in good manner. and ideas I am thinking maybe a key of some sort well help me out!!!

 

Could be stator i.e. cdi, coil, kill switch on handlebars not being hooked up right, thats all the electrical stuff. Your suz dealer should be able to check this stuff with an ohm meter (or you) and tell you what is bad.
