I heard that when Quadzillas came right out of the box that they would hit over 100mph eaisly. Is this true?

the 100 mph figure was on the "pre-production" models. After they realized what these machines would do, they made some changes for the consumer's models.

 

79mph stock. I think that you could gear it to 100mph though. There was a thread a while back about it and a lot of people didn’t think it could go 100 without other mods. If you figure out the HP/LB of a stock Quadzilla and of other machines that will top 100 it seems likely to me. For instance, my 97 Dodge Ram has a lower HP per LB than a Quadzilla and far more wind drag but it will do 113mph and possibly more if the speed limiter was removed.
