Default Z400 clutch question

I plan on changing my clutch lever and getting rid of the parking brake, the question I have is what do I do with the wires for the starter cutoff, the 2 wires that are hooked to the clutch that won't allow you to start without pulling in the clutch, do I just twist them together or what, any info would be greatly appresciated

thanks much

You can do like I did and modify your stock perch instead of buying one. I just cut the top portion off then used a file and some scotch brite pads to clean it up.

Then you don't need to cut any wires.

jcsact has a cool mod. But if you want to , your right , twist the two wires together.

jcsact, any chance you might repost the pictures of your perch or send em to me? Please...I hate the stock stuff, it hurts my hand.

I will have to see if I still have them at home. I sold the Z over a year ago and took down the pictures. I think there might be a post about it over at Z_400Central. You might do a search and see.

Flynhi you need to get on over at www.LincolnCountryTrailRiders.com We have a lot of people in this area that ride.
