Default removing spark arrester/baffle

Hey everyone, will removing the spark arrester improve performance at all? Is it safe? and do I have to do anything else to make it run okay? Someday I want to change the exhaust, but right now I just want a better sound.
Thanks,
Tuna

Um, its safe as long as u make sure your currently jetted rich. Yankin the baffle will lean out your midrange and top end, but you will notice a longer pull on top and a better sound
