I used the post z400 reverse rev limiter override, by z400 screamer.
Freakazoid posted the directions that I used, it works great.

 

haha i dont understand all this talk about z's faster then a 400ex my 2 buddies have both quads and they will admit everytime that the 400ex takes the z400 everytime and there both stock so i dont get it

the z is a better all around machine, but it isnt a WHOLE LOT faster. I will say it is faster but not by a whole lot.

 

I got a kfx 400 for my first sport four wheeler and my friend had a 400 ex for a year or so and we raced I beat him by a lot, and he got the jump on me because he popped the front end up and it all most hit me so i had to slow down and i still caught up to him and beat him bad .

 

I've seen the z and the ex drag race and they were real close.It really came down to which one got the jump taking off.I myself would rather own the z because of it being water cool.The ex is a good and proven atv but I just prefer water cool engines.
