Z400 As A Desert Racer
Two Alba Z's finished 1st and 2nd, ahead of a field of mostly Hondas at the Baja 300, and 3rd in Vegas to Reno (less than 10 min behind the 1st and 2nd place finishers). The Z is slowly starting to prove itself as a desert endurance racer!! (I presume these were 440's???)

Things will really get interesting when the they start fielding the new 450's!!

Yes, they were both 440's, the first place Z was ridden by Wayne Matlock and Chad Prull they are doing well this year. Chad ssems to be adapting to the desert thing very quickly.
As for the Z, once they got the motors dialed in, the only major complaint I heard was how low the linkage hangs, with the skidplate, they had a problem with bottoming. A switch to a taller tire seemed to do the trick.
