help me shock troubles!

Default help me shock troubles!

i have a 92 lt250r and the rear shock has a resivour and the line that connects the resivour to the shock in the rear the bolt that holds this line to the resivour came loose and i lost oil now it is just the sping for a shock how do i fix this eney advice would greatly be appreciated thanks.

Default help me shock troubles!

Ok, here what u do, first drain all the susp oil out of the shock in to a can make sure its all out !, then fill the shock with new oil right to the top, dump the oil and empty the pressure out of the resover, reatch the resover to the shock. charge the shock with about 90psi of air, then let the air out after a couple of mins, unbolt the resover but dont let the new oil out of it the shock to, a 1/4 of the oil should be in the resover now fill the shock again to the top of the shock, bolt the resover back on and charge the shock with about 120-130 psi of nitrogen, because there is no moisture in the N there fore no rust.
