1985 LT230 Quadrunner Ignition Switch Help
#1
Helping a friend replace his ignition switch in a 1985 LT230 Quadrunner. Does anyone have a wiring diagram to tell me what wires are what? I believe the red is battery, for the "ON" position what wires are common to the red wire? There is a red, organe, gray, black/white and black/yellow wires that go to the switch. What are the functions for each of these wires? Any helpl is appreciated.

Red goes to the + battery terminal, via 15 amp fuse.
Orange is connected to the neutral relay ,neutral indicator light, and the engine kill switch
Gray goes to the headlight dimmer switch, dash iilumination bulb, and the taillight.
Yellow/black is connected to the engine kill switch and CDI
Blk/white is connected engine kill switch, headlight, starter soleniod.
What wires make what happen when wires have closed contact via ignition switch:
1) Red and white make the zooter ready to run, just hit the start button ( key in middle position)
2) Red and white and gray, same as above except the headlamp is on ( key in farthest clockwise position)
3)yellow/blk and blk/whit, kills the engine and electrical sysytem ( key in farthest counter clockwise position)
