I am having the same problem with my z400. a couple of complete cracks. I have filed a claim at Suzuki and I am waiting to hear. What ended happening with your bike and the dealer...

 

As of Tuesday, 9/30, they are waiting for my new frame to arive(free of charge, thank god). It has been almost 1 month, but worth the wait.

I was unlucky with my timing, all the suzuki reps were in Las Vega for a big convention. So, the first and most of the second week the dealer had my Z, no one could be reached. Finally our area rep called my dealer, after some discussion, he told him to oder a new frame.

I am very pleased as far as how suzuki handled the situation, just want my Z back now!
