Alright...what company do you all think builds the best z400's and kfx400's. Alba, Trinity, yoshimura, CT racing, Duncan, LRD etc.... Also by stongest running im not only talking about HP numbers but proven reliability.

 

Yoshi 450 kit makes some extreme power and is VERY reliable!! I would go with them over any other company!!

 

yoshi for sure. Makes some nasty HP well still maintaining its reliability. They have worked with the DRZ engines more then any other so I would deff go with a yoshi kit if anything.

 

Hey bulldogz400....do you have any idea of about how much HP your getting out of your Z right now? Yoshimura is the easiest for me to get anyways. My local dealer only deals with yoshi and pc. I heard that the yoshi 450 kits puts out about 47 HP. Is this correct?

 

Strongest running Z?? That would be a Sparks 486 or 435 they are by far the kits around...

That is true, Sparks makes some very fast bikes...

Sams-I don't have any HP #'s but I can tell you my bike is very fast. The one thing you DO want if you get the Yoshi 450 kit is the FCR4mm carb that doesn't come with the kit. The lousy stock carb just can't flow enough, especially when it comes to larger bores. You should be able to put out 47HP, but rememer that all dynos will show different. To show what you have gained, dyno your quad the way it is now, and dyno it after the work is done. This will show the gains made which is more important than the actual high number, due to varying dynos...
