Z-250 EXHAUST
#5
Talked to Advantage performance a couple of days ago to get an ETA on when I'll have the DMC exhaust (approx $350 each to the door). I was told a release date of Sept 15th (next monday) and expect to have it at my door by that friday (Sept 19th). Also awaiting Jetting specifications by email, which should be available when the system is released on Monday. That way we have the correct jet sizes (if any) to installed and configure when the exhaust gets bolted on next weekend.....(no sense in adding the exhaust unless your going to make the effort to tune the carb). We are also going to be adding a set of 22x11 - 10 Holeshot XCT's (lightest 22" tire i've found) on both quads to compliment the new exhaust and extra torque. I'm really looking forward to seeing how well this system does for this quad.....quite honestly anything is better in my opinion. And, from what i've read in other forums for various different quads, is that the DMC is a great all around performing system, with nice styling and a good sound level at a very affordable price. I promise to write a very detailed review on the quads with and without the DMC exhaust installed.

I just installed the Yoshi slip-on, on my wifes z250 tonight and rejetted to a 130 main from the stock 125 and its a huge difference. Of course, we removed the spark arrestor-quiet core. Suzuki has the rebate right now on accessories and my dealer gave us some additional $$ off, so it was a reasonable deal. Typical Yoshi nice fit and finish, but amazing how much it woke up this bike. Now it should spin paddles with no problem. Will keep you posted.
