I agree. I am happy with my Z. I f you want more speed just you can add some mods. It wouldnt take to much to get the performance of the yfz. Plus you have reverse. You dont need it often but its nice when you do.

Hey warrior350, I'm about to make the same switch I think. Being 15 I don't have that much money and want to make sure it's the right thing to do. Is the Z worth the money? Is it that much better all around than a Warrior? Oh and besides the frame problem have any of you had any other problems, especially with the engine? Thanks a lot.

Sparx277, I just replaced my tierod. Took me all of 10 minutes to do and the rod cost me like 12 bucks. They are expendable that's why they are so cheap.

As far as loving the Z, I 100% love mine I would not get rid of mine. The power that is has is great for a 400cc engine. I ride with a Ds650, and I can keep up with him a little.

Chuck1221, I put a 13 tooth front sprocket on and drilled some holes in the lid that helped with the 3rd gear and up power. The White Bros. E-series pipe helped too.

I feel the same way. I purchased my z, and have never been happier with my decision. It is such a nice quad, plush, lots of power, and very nimble. I know the race ready quads are faster, but i dont care, i love my Z

thanx toyguy, just got the tierod ordered today along with the front light fixture that cracked over the weekend.
i think i like the z more every time i take it out in to the woods. great trail bike, will put some mods on it later but for now plenty of power.
