My 04 Eiger is making a buzzing sound . Sounds like plastic buzzing but i can't pinpoint it,could it be the drive train / gears?? runs great --still in the break in period.Anyone else hear it? My buddy says it "aint a car it's supposed to sound like that" but I'm not so sure. All replys suggestions oand words of advice will be greatly appriciated. Thanks D

 

It is not unusual to get a buzz or rattle from your atv even when new. It's probably just the plastic.

 

I jacked it up and spun the wheels.The sound is definitly comming from the gears---checked rear and front and gear lube is right where it's supposed to be. This bike runs great--shifts great---handles great--shaft drive sounds strange to me, I'm used to chain drive. Anyone else hear the difference?

 

is it only when your moving? My Vinson makes sound like somthing is rubbing on the tires. But so does every other manual eiger and vinson iv heard. I asked my dealer and he said its normal and not to worry about it. Other than that how do you like the machine.

 

hey zuke4ever...those vinsons are really great.!!!! I traded an almost brand new (Wifes) '03 Prairie 360 auto..(P.O.S.) in for the vinson, a real machine ...Cant wait untill suk comes out with IRS and 5spd,500 L/C...

 

yea mn turbo i cant wait for suzuki to come out with a suzuki designed, fuel injected 700 king quad that will completely dominate the open class sport utilitys. And by the way how much faster is the p650 than the vinson?
