A handful. Very fast. Most powerful 250 2 stroke quad of the 80's. Worst suspension of the 3 80's quads. Very small dimensions, only a Blaster is smaller. Parts are getting hard to find, both oem and aftermarket. with wider a-arms and axle it handles much better. If you run in the woods it is actually the right size but likeI said earlier, the stock suspension stinks. I've had 2, one with stock suspension and one with Works dual rates. Even with the Works the suspension was nowhere near as nice as a stock 400ex. Bad geometry. Front plastic is no longer available from the factory [5 pieces in the front alone] They may still make the rear but so does Maier. I have seen 2 Tecate4's with Full Bore Z400 plastic on them, I don't know how easy it is to do but it looks super sano. If you get one look for Klemm Research parts and watch Ebay for donor quads. I think it is the most unique, if not quirky quad ever made.

Do a search in the forums on "Tecate" to get some info - just 1-2 weeks ago this quad was discussed at length.
