Did you see my post on my quadracer? I will be parting it out. I have you a motor. I mite even make you a package deal. I have the 38mm kehein carb with a zilla offset boot with v force rad valve.

sorry it took me a while to reply. carbon tech reeds are about $25 for 85-86, $55 for '87 and $50 for '88-92.

porting... you get what you pay for. pay your next door neighbor $50 and he'll probably ruin your engine. find someone with lots of experience with modern 2 stroke engines and a great reputation, pay him $400 and you'll probably get a damn good product and he'll redo the head as well, probably.

how much porting should you do? only you and your engine builder can answer that question. where do you want the new power (bottom end, mid or top?). what kind of riding do you do? ect...

yes, it's hard to put a quadzilla motor in an '86 frame if you can't weld or torch.

if you want to put a zilla motor in a LT250R frame, go to www.macdizzy.com and sign up for the two stroke forum. then go in the open suzuki forum and find the LT250/500 RX thread. it will have mostly everything you need and send you right on your way to killing banshees, big bore hondas, raptors, DS650s, cannondales... everything.
