Best quadracer airfilter

I have been thinking about making a deflector shield to keep water and mud from splashing the filter but havent done it yet. Still in the thinking stages.
Isn't that what the airbox was for? J/K!

hehe, yeah I guess it is what it was there for. It was a pain getting the k&N out of the stock airbox though. And besides, it looks cooler now.

i'm doing the same thing to my 'sport. ditched the airbox to accomodate a piggyback shock. not doing anything to the stock motor at this point, but i figure i'll hafta up the main a couple sizes, right? i'm gonna go with a foam filter w/ a wrap.

Man, I can tell a difference in the new filter. I didn't think there would be much if any since the old filter was K&N in the stock air box. It used to run a bit on the rich side, it seems to have leaned out a little now. Started first kick and idled really nice. It used to be more cold blooded and had to play with it to keep it going.
