I just purchased a Suzuki LT 230 quad. I am a little confused as to which one I have ( LT230S, LT230E, LTF230, LT230S etc.........)The quad is a 1986. The body says Quadrunner. It is chain driven, disc brakes, 4 stroke, 5 speed with reverse and red with a black seat. I want to purchase parts for this and as I look for parts it is all broken down by these letter designations. Any help would be appreciated as to which it is and what other years it is compatible with. Any help in my search for parts is great.

If it has a manual clutch its an LT230S. Auto clutch and its an E.

if it has a clutch then is is a lt230s quadsport. i dont no what the quadrunner sticker is there for. just about everything with the 230e is interchangeable because the only thing different is the engine.

 

OK. After a little more research I found the quadrunner sticker was added on. So it is a LT230S Quadsport. Thanks for the help guys. Now off to find some stock and performance parts for it.
