New tires for Ozark....
Thanks for the quick response. I live in NM so I'm worried about rock puncture. The space between the knobbs are wide on the dirt devils.

I want the tallest knobbs but a good rock tire

New tires for Ozark....
I put 22X10X9 Gators on my 250EX. I ride lots of rocky trails with no problems. They are a very rough tire and offer excellent traction. Any 6 ply tire should be tough enough to resist rock punctures with no problems though. The Gators in that size were almost as light as the stockers. They do great in any conditions I have had them in, especially mud.

The stock size 22X10X9 weighed atound 18 or 19 pounds. That was a little more than the stock tires but not as much as almost any other mud tire. I originally was going to go with the wider width 22X12X9 size but they weighed 2-3 pounds more. I am very satisfied with the Gators, they really transformed my 250EX. If I am not badly high centered I can generally get through some pretty good mud. I got mine thru treadepot.com but now Dennis Kirk has them so it may be cheaper to go with them for the free shipping.
