I thought I would start a new thread since the other is getting pretty long. I finally got a picture uploaded to my Bio, so tell me what you guys think. The sun was in a bad place, so I will try to get more when I can, but wanted some feedback on it so far. Thanks!

Nice Work.... I know exactly how you feel I too got a quad racer for dirt cheap but in the same sense was seriously negglected. So I decided to restore it from the frame up. All in all it costed me about $1800 to replace 75% of the parts on the quad.Sweetest part about it was that I knew nothing about those machines until I got this one, and suprisingly enough it only took me about 8 weeks to do it all. I just finished puttiong it back together and fired for the first time since I bought it and thank goodness it started.Need to do some minor adjustments to the carb. but other than thta she runs like a champ....What sucks is 20 min into riding it I got into an acceident, A store owner put up two posts right in the middle of the trails with bars betwwen them for a ready for a big sign. Anyways I didnt see the bar until it was to late I went to go duck but I wasnt fast enough the steel bar ended up knocking me out. I was hauled to the emergency room where I was told my nose and the bones above and below my eye were broken. So I had to get thirty somethin stitches, I was lucky it didnt decapitate me. The whole thing sucked and so now Im sitting here because I have to wait for about a week for my face to kinda heel up so that I can get back out to the trails. Anyways goodluck to ya.

Nice work moto39. I like the flipped frame and plastics colors. I spent $2200 restoring my LT and I still haven't gotten to the plastics or front tires (but that's OK 'cause the engine rips!).

I am in the slow process of making my quad nice. I doubt I will ever get the time or ambition to do a complete teardown at one time and do a resto. What is nice about these quads is that you can replace a part and sell the old part on ebay and make most or more of you money back. I.E. I bought a Durablue axel for $110 and sold my stock axel for $130. Cool huh. That helps the wallet when doing a rebuid. People will buy a lot of stuff that seems like crap to you. In my pics I still have the old headlight, but I recently put lazer star lights on that I got for $50 and sold my old headlight for $70. If you look really hard, you can do a nice resto for cheap. Unfortunately I need to replace the bottom end bearings of my motor soon, and no matter what, that is gonna cost me.
Anyways
MOTO39.
Quad looks good. I have thought about doing that color scheme, but ihavn't for the reasons stated above.
