Hello! I would like to have all information you know about the suzuki quadsport 230/250 and the quadracer please. I would like to buy a sport quad but I don't really know wich choose... Maybe a quadsport or a quadracer could be the perfect quad for me but I don't realy know a lot of information about it... I want a sport quad reliable, that don't take too much gaz, especially for trail riding but able to ride in sand sometimes and with enough power to climb big hills. I'll wait your information about quadracer and quadsport but if you know a better quad for me, around the same price (less than 2100$), I would appreciate a lot if you could give me information about it too.

Thank you very much!

okie, thanks for information but why do you say to buy a lt250 over 1987? 1985 and 1986 lt250 are not reliable?

The 85-86 I think only had 5 gears the 87 and up had 6 And the 87 and up have a powervalve but the 85-86 are still good.

the diferences are as follows,
1. changed seat, in 87 they had it wrap around
2. external reed cage, in 85-86 it was in the cylinder
3. 87-on they added a 6th gear
4. 87-on the swing arm was stronger
5. suspension was way better on 87-on, I mean WAY better
6. 85-86 had a 4 lug rear, 87-on had a 5
7. 85-86 knowen for water pump problems, usualy leaks
this is all I member, there is a lil more minor things like the 85-86 were all screws instead of blots, but minor stuff.

ok, so the quadracer up to 1986 are way better. But is the difference between 5 or 6 speed transmission very big? I though to buy a 85 or 86 because theyr are a lot less expensive but, everybody here say that I must buy one up to 86 so, I trust you and thats what I will probably do Do you know approximatly how much cost a 1987 or 88 full stock and in good shape?

Thanx a lot everybody !

I think 87'-92' are the best years. I payed $3,300 for mine but mine is like superman, you could probly get a nice one for 1,900+.dont forget to check the quad out for cracks, and make sure everything works fine.
