92 LT250R Frame questions......
#1
I stripped my 92 down to the frame and when I pick it up straight (vertically) the frame seems to be straight but for some odd reason in the front it looks like its bent. It looks as if the front end was turned on it or something. Has any one with a 92 had this ame problem of is thing bent? I looked for craqcks of paint or anything like that but everything looks good. If someone could tell me what the is going on it would be much appreciated. Thanks

when you look from the back of the frame forward there seems to be an illusion its bent. i thought both my 250r and lt250r looked bent but it is just the way the frame is. but its hard to tell from your description thou.

Sorry, Its really hard to explain. When I go to the rear of the frame and look at it it looks just fine and perfectly straight but the problem is when I walk to the front and look at it it looks like it veres to the right. So I pick the frame up ( as if it were on its rear wheelsand you were looking at the bottom of the engine)and look at it at the bottom towards the rear it looks straight but as soon as you get to about where the a arms go it starts to vere but everything still lines up perfectly, it just looks like the shocks would be a little off from being centered with each other. I dont know its really weird. I get a camera tommorow so I'll take a picture of it and post it to show ya.

Soldotna, if you have all the A-arms off put it up on the table and measure from one point to another and do both sides and up and down if you can get to points. It should come out the same the tape cann't lie. You could also try a X pattern (corner to corner)

when i had mine stripped down i looked like the rear of the frame was not centered with the bearing carrier so i measured it and it wasnt and then i looked a little harder and noticed that the frame was cracked where the rear half meats the middle sectionso i welded it back shut and im just going to run it.
