Is this a decent quad. and would it be good enough to haul a 225 pound rider around.

quad racer... or quad runner? i thot the quad runner was a 230...?

 

They made a 250 quadrunner. They were a decent quad.(if you are talking about the ones that had rear suspension) They are more of work atv, so it depends on what you are planning to use it for.

 

there are a couple three years of 250quadsports also....(I believe)

 

I have a 01 250 quad but 4x4 and am 150, i have no problems and love it when my husbands switches from his 600 grizzly he claims he is all over the place and it is like riding a marshmallow ( he weighs 185) I do not recommend it

 

I have a 1985 LT250EF 2WD. It's a good machine and it hauls me around just fine at 200 lbs. The only thing I can suggest is to make sure you can find parts for it if needed. I am in the process of rebuilding and find it hard to even get a shop manual for it.
