How low can you talk a dealer down on a new Z400?
I am thinking of buying one today. Are the 2004s out?
I know msrp is like $5899 or something...how low can they be talked down?
They went as low as $4200 on a new Warrior...down from $4600 or something.
Can I expect that on a Z400?
Anything I should know about them, that the dealer might not tell me?

How low can you talk a dealer down on a new Z400?
I bought my 2003 when they first came out and talked the dealer down to 5899 out the door. Then I added the 5 year extended warrantee. You can usually get the set up fee thrown in. If they won't budge on the price get them to throw in stuff like new helmet, paddles or something. Good luck.

I baught a 2004 Z400...got them down to $5300 +55 fees. Thats it no other fees. I think that was a pretty good deal. Cant pick it up till tomorrow...they still have to put it together.

lol all you guys keep saying 4899? 4999? damn those dealers like losing money that is below invoice I know I sell them if that is what you got for a deal then that is a great deal good job guys. I spent that kind of money and Ive been at the dealership and ive been there along time and saw cost on the bike

IF YOU HAVE SEEN THE PAYOFF SLIP TO SUZUKI THAT COMES WITH THE MSO THEN YOU HAVENT REALLY SEEN COST . MOST SHOPS SELL FOR $500 ABOVE COST . NOW IF YOU WORK AT A SHOP YOU KNOW OF THE DEALER INSENTIVE REBATE AND SALESMAN INSENTIVE . JUST OFF OF SALES INCENTIVE ALONE I WAS MAKING $200 PER 650 PRAIRIE I SOLD . NOW IT DEPENDS ON THE DEALER AS WHO GETS THAT SOME DEALERSHIPS KEEP ALL INSENTIVES . THE DEALER COULD KNOCK OFF AS MUCH AS 1000 OFF MSRP ON THE Z AND STILL MAKE 200, SOME MONTHS EVEN MORE DEPENDING ON THE INSENTIVE GOING AT THE TIME. KEEP THIS IN MIND WHEN YOU GO TO BUY A QUAD. HEY AND THE BIKES ARE WORSE . I MADE A KILLIN ON BIKES. I EVEN SHOWED THE CUSTOMER THE PAYOFF SLIP ON SOME SALES TO SHOW HIM HOW IM WASNT TRYING TO TAKE HIM. LITTLE DID HE KNOW THAT THAT ITTLE PIECE OF PAPER MEANS NOTHING.
