Default Different front shocks for my 230 S

I got my 300ex shocks on today... A short ride told me I like it so far!!! Even with springs on longest setting(loose) , I couldn`t bottom them out... Picked the front end up so I have to adjust toe-in some..The front end drifts a little if not paying attention... We cut the bottom shock mount to fit the a-arm and made a bushing out of some 80 durometer rubber tube...looks good , fit a-arm tight... about $100 invested

They are about a inch and a half longer than stock...I might look into making a different top shock mount raising it about one inch just to see... but, that will be after a couple days riding

You have to cut the bottom mount down to fit the a-arm.. and, figure a bushing because you will probably ruin the stock ones...

it is sort of a funny story how the motors' piston broke. One day someone took the head off the motor to inspect it. i guess they leand over it and a penny fell out of there pocket. inturn it got in the engine and hit the piston up against the crank and cracked it. i will post pic of the penny. never seen 1 like this before..... he he he
