Suzuki 230 parking brake

Default Suzuki 230 parking brake
The parking brake on my suzuki 230 quadsport doesn't work. I tried adjusting the cable by the actual brake but it didn't do any good. Is there any other way to get it to work? thanks...

you might need new brake pads

You're probably better off carrying a brick around with you. The parking brake never works on those old Quadsports (or any other quad for that matter).

just leave it in 1st gear, thats what i did for like 8 years.
