There is a guy selling a Lt 250R down the street from me and is asking 2,000 for it.He says it has a rebuilt engine and he says it also comes with an extra set of tires and a pipe.Im wordering is it worth this price,The most i want to spend is 1,500.Does anyone think this quad is worth 2,000.Thanks to any one who replies[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

That sounds like a reasonable price on that bike as long as it needs little or no work. Out my way(Rochester) I have seen a few85-87's in your price range.

 

that's a decent price because i payed 2500 for my 87 LT250R and i think it was well worth it. LT's are a fast bike if you put someone on them that knows how to ride.

 

Compared to a new 7000 dollar bike it is always a good deal if you find them around 2000. Main thing is have a good motor and good plastic. even if you had to spend 1000 for some upgrades you will still only be around 3000 which is relatively cheap. Also you should buy upgrades that can be put on atv 's that you may get in the future. like a racing carb. or aluminum bars , stuff like that, but keep your stock parts so you can put them back on .
