Quadzilla Shocks on LT250
#2
Unless you plan on doing some pretty serious modifications... they won't fit
Longer A-arms, and different mounting on the frame, the fronts will fit...
A complete rebuild of the rear subframe allows the removal of all the linkage and the use of the bigger shock... but that's pretty major

Here's an idea, go to the Works performance website and check the length of your stock shocks, then compare them to similar weighted sport quads like the Raptor, Banshee, Warrior, Honda EX models, etc. You may find a similar sized shock for another quad, then borrow a pair of those shocks from a friend (if possible) and see if they fit, then buy a used pair on Ebay. If you can't try a fit with a pair of borrowed shocks and you buy a pair off Ebay that don't fit, you could simply relist them and the most you would be out is the shipping provided they resell at the same price. I got a pair of hardly used 400EX shocks for my Zilla and they work fine. They're a little long and I think the Banshee shock would have worked better but I'm keeping them.

You can have my stock, great cond. LT500 front shocks and springs for $10.00 if you want to come get them. I am in Thousand Oaks (just west of San Fernando Valley). Send me a PM if interested

I think I have read before that all you have to do to get lt500 shocks to bolt up is machine one of the eyes on the shocks down a little. I am not 100% sure but I though I read that somewhere.

LT250Rodney, sorry about that. I assumed you were in Ontario CA which isn't that far away compared to Canada. I can send them to you but it will most likely have to be after Thanksgiving. I have alot going on for the next couple of weeks and won't be able to make it to the Post Office. If you don't mind waiting and don't mind paying shipping you can have them. They are clogging a spot in my garage and are in exc. cond. Off an 88.

don't know about for a 250 but they are sprung pretty stiff for the quadzilla. I have never played with the adjusters though. They are infinitly adjustable not just in clicks like the 250's. They also got rebound or comp. adj. I can't remember which.
