just wondering what every 1 thinks a fair price would be on a 1986 230s quad sport plastic is busted a lil bit in the back but is still together and theres no decals on it but it runs great. and i just bored it over 20 and put new rings and re built the head and it has cobra exhaust and striker tires in the back. i got 700 off kelly blue book and 600 off another web site. any idea's??

 

basicly, the price you pay would be up to you...plastic is about $150.... I know I wouldn`t sell my QS for less than $1000.....

 

I got $1400 for mine last year. However I had rebuilt the top end with all new parts, completely disassembled and repainted the quad, added a Goki starter kit with a Recon control pod, new Maier plastic with custom decals, and added a 400ex tool carrier also. I got my spent dollars back on it, but lost my butt on my labor. It was a great learning experience for me and I rode it for two years too. A very happy 15 year old kid got a great old 86 LT230S. I have a few pics of it on my site that were taken a little bit before I sold it.
